With an original story based on the Alfheim Online realm including new and returning characters and exclusive environments, fans will be more than happy to spend more than 50 hours questing in the ultimate Virtual Reality universe! Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment is scheduled to release digitally in North America, Europe, Middle-East and Australasia for the PlayStation 4 (via PlayStation Network) in summer 2015. Sword Art Online: Lost Song is slated for a retail release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in fall 2015.

I’ve heard a whole lot about Sword Art Online, the anime. I know several friends who are into it. I’ve yet to get connected, but it’s great that these Japanese games are seeing the light of the day in the West.

It’s digital for Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment, which simply means that, in the past, the game likely would never have even been released. But thanks to the low-cost of releasing a game digitally, fans will get to experiene it in English!

This is what I love about the new digital-age we live in. It’s also very exciting to see fans getting a full retail release with Sword Art Online: Lost Song.

But I wonder why they are PlayStation-exclusive. Why no Microsoft or Nintendo love?
