The Handsome Collection includes Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel along with all of the downloadable content for both titles – over $100 dollars of value on prior-gen consoles, but now with the high performance and graphical fidelity of next-gen consoles for only $60!
The Handsome Collection will launch in North America on March 24, 2015, and internationally on March 27, 2015, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Additionally, up to four players can play together on a single television with four-player split screen, along-awaited, oft-requested feature, and another first for the franchise!

It’s great to see Borderlands making the leap to next-gen consoles with this port… It would’ve been fine had they ported one of the two most recent games over to the Xbox One & PS4, but including both in one package pretty much makes it a must-buy.
Even if there isn’t any real “new content”… Then again, having four-player splitscreen local multiplayer alone may make the whole thing worth it for fans.
For those who have never played Borderlands, this is a fantastic deal, especially at only 60 bucks!
However it seems like a HUGE missed opportunity to not include the original Borderlands and all of it’s DLC… The fact that Borderlands 2 & the Pre-Sequel will come with all of their DLC out-the-box is fantastic; but how much sweeter & how much more of a must-buy would this set have been had it included the original game and made it a trilogy set instead…
Hopefully they will bring Borderlands 1 to the digital shops on both platforms soon to complete the three-peat.
