Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Easter Eggs

Star Wars Parody Easter Egg

In the “These Are The Bots” mission there’s a Star Wars Parody/Reference. This parody centers around Star Wars: A New Hope when C-3PO and R2-D2 are trying to get a message from Princess Leia to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Or should I say, ICU-P (“I see you pee”?) and RT-FC are looking for Toby Van Adobe? LMAO!

Master Chief Teddy Bear Easter Egg

In Concordia, go into Moxxie’s bar, and look at the right side of the bar. There is a teddy bear at the end of the bar, wearing a spacesuit that looks a lot like Halo’s Master Chief getup.
Note: Press X to spin the bar chair and you’ll get some cash!

Super Mario Bros. Easter Egg

The easter egg is located in Tycho’s Ribs. Fast travel to Tycho’s Ribs. When you spawn, run through two doors and make a left, you will see a hovering platform in front of you. Run pass the hovering platform and jump down to the area below. When you land, there’ll be two entrances to your left, take the entrance furthest from you. Make your way through the U-shaped area until you see a new set of hovering platforms. Use the hovering platform in front you to reach the platform to the left of you. Stay on this platform and it will bring you up to the secret Super Mario Bros level!
Note: In the hidden big room is also a Cult of the Vault Symbol.

Seven Movie Box Easter Egg

Fast travel to “Titan Robot Production Plant”. When you arrive turn right and enter “Titan Industrial Factory”. Now make your way to Gladstone’s office there will be a box on the console. Open the box and no be ahead inside it. This is a reference to the 1995 movie Seven when Gwyneth Paltrow has her head cut off and placed in a box and shipped to her husband Brad Pitt.
Note: If the box is not there, just reload the map and try again.

NBA Jam Easter Egg

Complete the missions “Boomshakalaka” and “Space Slam” on Outlands Canyon. These two missions are a reference to NBA Jam that was movie & game from the 90s.

2001 Movie Parody Easter Egg

The 2001: A Space Odyssey movie reference is in central Tritan Flats. Take a vehicle outside to The Pale area and enter Stanton’s Liver and go all the way to Higgin’s Gully until you find the purple obelisk.

Buzz Lightyear Easter Egg

Find out where to find Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies in central Tritan Flats and go to Cosmo to help him launch his rocket into space. It’s called the “No Such Thing as a Free Launch” mission.

Daft Punk Remix Easter Egg

Complete the mission “Wipe The Slate” on Concordia. This mission tasks you to find three hidden E recorders and destroy them. Jack also has a plan for the statue of Merrif. The end result is hilarious so check it out! Also don’t miss the easter egg of Daft Punk at Moxxi’s Bar.

Family Guy Easter Egg

Find the mission “An Urgent Message” from the bounty board in Jack’s office immediately after you complete the main mission “Home Sweet Home”. After completing “An Urgent Message” the professor will give you another mission called “Paint Job” to complete. When you’re finished completing “paint shop” the professor will ask you for one more favor, and that’s to “Kill Meg” an abomination that he created that is now living in the trash compactor. This mission is a reference to a family Guy episode that is a parody of the trash compactor scene in Star Wars: New Hope. so it’s a parody of a parody.
