Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Moonstones Farming Guide

Moonstones Location #1: Serenity’s Wasteland

The first Moonstones location makes use of an exploit that allows you to get easy Moonstones.

Moonstones are used for as a currency for the Black Market or the Grinder. Moonstones can be used to obtain Luneshine weapons or to buy upgrades and buffs with in Concordia.

Tip: To make use of the Unlimited Moonstones Loot Glitch, make sure you have at least a level 29 character to be able to easily kill the Iwajira secret boss over and over again.

Here are the steps that explain how to get an unlimited supply of Moonstones:

Step 1: Fast Travel to Serenity’s Wasteland.

Step 2: Leave the Janey Spring’s building, there will be a cliff to your right, jump on the cliff and head to the building ahead of you. There will be some more cliffs to the left of the building, jump on the cliffs then jump on to the left side of the building. Follow the building until you see a small cliff right in front of you. Jump to the small cliff then jump over the river of lava on to another small cliff, look to your right and you’ll see a cave.

Step 3: Proceed into the cave until you see a hole in the ground. Jump into the hole when you’re ready to fight the secret boss! It’s recommended to be at level 29 to easily kill Iwajira alone.

Step 4: When you kill Iwajira, you will receive massive amounts of Moonstones that you can use to buy upgrades at the Black Market! To farm Iwajira, pause the game, select Quit, then select Save and Quit.

Step 5: Next, when the Main Menu screen shows up, press “Continue” to start in the same area again and run back to Iwajira and kill them all over again. You can keep doing this to have an unlimited supply of Moonstones!
