At Gamescom 2014’s PlayStation Briefing, developer Media Molecule has announced a remake of the PS Vita adventure Tearaway. The expanded big-screen remake is called Tearaway Unfolded and is coming exclusively to PS4 in 2015!

Tearaway Unfolded is an expanded retelling of the BAFTA award-winning Tearaway for PlayStation Vita, an adaptation for PlayStation 4. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of the enhanced power of the PlayStation 4 and the unique features of the DualShock 4 controller, with new fourth-wall-busting interactions and a bigger, more beautiful world to explore.

Tearaway Unfolded is a messenger’s delivery adventure, choose between the male player character, Iota, or the female, Atoi. Their story is all told through a papercraft world inside your TV…
• Reach into your TV to help your messenger along their way!
Unleash the power of wind. Swipe the DualShock 4 touch pad to send gusts of wind howling into the world, blowing obstacles out of the way, unfolding rippling bridges, or sending enemies tumbling off cliffs. The power of wind can also be used to propel Atoi through the skies in a paper plane, so you can explore the larger new world from above.
The controller will be used in more surprising ways too! You can shine the controller’s light bar into the TV to light up dark and gloomy places, growing and transforming the scenery, and guiding Atoi along her way. Your little messenger companion can also throw items and creatures out of your TV and into your controller, where you can listen to them rattling around, before sending them hurtling back into the world.
• Better graphics; Bigger game.
Tearaway Unfolded presents you with a bigger prettier world running at 1080p and targeting 60fps! All the hub areas will be 50% bigger too, filled with lots of new content to make the world livelier.
