The Legend of Zelda Monopoly Release Date, Collector’s Edition GameStop Extras Announced

Priced at $40, The Legend of Zelda Monopoly & Collector’s Edition has been announced by USAopoly, which will feature GameStop-exclusive extras if you buy the game at GameStop. It will be released on September 15, 2014 in the USA.

Zelda Monopoly is exactly what you’d expect it to be, a The Legend of Zelda-themed official Monopoly boardgame set!

It comes complete with Zelda-themed spaces & properties, backgrounds, artwork, money, Chance & Community Chest Cards, Tokens and more! This is similar to other licensed Monopoly sets that the company has been producing since about 2000.

* 6 Collectible tokens: Bow, Hookshot, Boomerang, Triforce, Hylian Shield, Ocarina of Time (Game Stop Exclusive token)

* Houses renamed Deku Sprouts, Hotels renamed Deku Trees

* Chance and Community Chest cards are renamed Empty Bottle and Treasure Chest

* Custom Title Deed Cards

Very, very cool! I’m a huge Monopoly fan. It’s always been my dream to collect all of these amazing licensed Monopoly editions. There are so many of them now. But I definitely want to start with the Nintendo, Pokemon, Power Rangers and Zelda editions!

My favorite boardgame has always been Monopoly, followed closely by Scrabble & Yahtzee! 😀
