Microsoft kicked the show off with a bang by beginning their Pre-E3 Press Conference with the game everyone expected: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. And let me tell you, you will NOT be disappointed.

Releasing November 4th 2014, this year, on Xbox One & Xbox 360 — where Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC will be released first– plus PS4, PS3, Wii U & PC, Advanced Warfare takes the Call of Duty series into the future once again and stars actor Kevin Spacey and is developed by Sledgehammer Games (with Transformers developer High Moon Studios doing the Xbox 360/PS3/Wii U versions).

The demo (as seen above) had a lot of elements that will be familiar to fans of the series, and the focus was on the single-player storyline. But if you came for the graphics, you stayed for the amazing weapons and effects and how they play into gameplay.

The world was extremely impressive, with walking mechs and robots of all sorts, including flying bug-like bots that swarm in the air above you like the Sentinels from The Matrix! SO AWESOME.

Enemies created holograms of themselves, grenades can be cycled through types (with the user actually thumbing a lever on the grenade itself, so cool!), and you can even rip off the door of a car and use it as a shield! EPIC! As per usual, fans of Call of Duty will eat it up. Even if you are not a fan, like me, you can’t help but have your socks blown off.
