Halo: The Master Chief Collection Announced. E3 2014 Gameplay Demo

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been announced exclusively for Xbox One! Like a massive DVD Series Boxset, this game will include Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 in their complete forms — with all Multiplayer DLC and the new Halo Nightfall series included free of charge — for only $60!

All games will also use the same unified interface between all four titles in line with that of Halo 4.

Not only that, but Halo 1 will be the Anniversary remake released for Xbox 360, and Halo 2 will also be an all-new Halo 2 Anniversary remake, completely redone with graphical power of the Xbox One!

New Skulls will be available in All Campaigns and all-new Easter Eggs will also be there to discover!

In addition to playing the past of the Halo series, this game also takes you into the future! It will include a beta for the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians, and will include the Ridley Scott directed live-action “Halo Nightfall” digital series!

Halo fans are in for a real treat, as Halo: The Master Chief Collection will offer over 100 Multiplayer Maps, over 4000 GamerScore to earn via Achievements, everything unlocked from each game from the outset, and the new ability to create custom “playlists” made up of great moments from throughout the franchise that you can share with your friends.

Oh & yes, you can switch to classic graphics in Halo 2 if you want (it’s basically Halo 2 Anniversary Edition). Also the Halo 2 online multiplayer remains exactly the same as before, literally untouched, just running on new hardware!

Additionally 6 specific maps have been completely rebuilt with Xbox One graphics, and each & every game has been completely optimized for Xbox One to run in 1080p at 60 frames per second! Huzzah!
