Welcome to the Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion Intel locations guide that helps you find the total of 8 Intel locations for the Xbox 360, Xbox One and soon PS3, PS4 & PC first-person shooter game DLC #3.

Finding all 8 Intel locations and picking them up will help unlock this Achievement / Trophy:
* “Spelunker” (20 Gamerscore / Bronze Trophy) — Find all of the Intel in Awakening.
* Bonus: Each Intel you find will unlock an extra story cutscene, revealing more of Awakening’s backstory. Play the cutscene from the game’s Main Menu, Intel can be found under the Xbox Live / Online Play section.

How to find missing Intel?: In-game the Intel will appear simply as:

A) The 1st “Prologue” Intel automatically gets unlocked as it is the opening cutscene.

B) There are 6 black Encrypted Intel devices containing Classified Intel lying on a surface (with a green glowing outline). The 3 laptops can be found at set / static locations, and 2 mobile phones can be found at random locations. You can pick up each computer to collect when you stand next to it by following the on-screen prompt. — The collectible Intel can be confirmed as being Intel simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you can press the action button/key to pick it up. The message will read: “Press and hold X to pick up intel” on Xbox (it’s the Square button on PlayStation).
Afterwards, you’ll get a confirmation message, for example saying “Ancestor Intel Found”.

C) The 1 final, 8th Intel titled “Epilogue” is automatically unlocked as you complete the Awakening map; by defeating the Kraken final boss.

Does the game save each Intel you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Intel you just collected if you picked up the Intel. But it’s always recommended you play to the end of the Extinction mission. — Once collected, these Intel cannot be picked up again.

Note: Collecting each Intel will also give you a nice $500 cash bonus.

Tip: To view the unlocked Intel videos, from the Main Menu go to “Xbox Live”/Online Play and select “Intel”. There is a tracker available in the top right corner of the screen showing how many items you have collected.

PS: Sometimes on DLC packs the achievement / trophy doesn’t pop up after watching the final cutscene. If that happens here, then after finishing the Awakening story, you might want to try watching all Intel videos from the in-game menu to see if that makes the “Spelunker” achievement / trophy unlock.
