Outlast Whistleblower Walkthrough
Storyline:
Whistleblower will let you play as Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract with Murkoff and the man who emailed journalists around the world – including Miles – at the beginning of Outlast. Spending a couple of weeks at Mount Massive, during which he was unable to even talk to his wife and son thanks to strict security protocols, Waylon developed a deep-seated distrust of the profit-motivated scientists and doctors leading dangerous and irresponsible experiments on their patients. Identifying with those poor souls fueled Waylon’s anger, and set the stage for his unmasking of Mount Massive’s rotten core.

Chapter 1: If I Die
Welcome to the Outlast Whistleblower walkthrough! Doug will be your voice-over commentator showing you around the game’s areas. As well as joining you in the many jump scares the game provides. 😆
Although Whistleblower tells the story that led to Outlast, it will actually stretch past the events of the first game to show the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum’s story.
The introduction chapter starts at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems Facilities in Mount Massive, where you (as software engineer Waylon Park) need to go to the main console at the Morphogenic Engine.
Tip: Objectives are updated in your Reporter’s Notebook (TAB), containing your Notes (N) and picked up Documents (J).
Chapter 2: A Radio In The Prison
In order to warn the outside world about the illegal research going on at the Murkoff Psychiatric Ward, we must find a radio somewhere in the prison grounds. — Although you find out about it here, you don’t reach the radio until Chapter 4: Outside The Prison Block. — So first we go look for the Handcuff Key to open the door and progress.
Tip: The Night Vision mode on your camera uses battery life. Manage it well.
Chapter 3: The Engine’s Varying Effects
Tip: Remember that Notes are only added to your Notebook when your camcorder is raised to record events.
Chapter 4: Outside The Prison Block
Chapter 5: Burning Lights
Outlast Whistleblower Walkthrough continues on Page 2 with Chapter 6: Bride Of Frankenstein up to the ending.
