How To Unlock All Soul Calibur: Lost Swords Characters

After the PlayStation 3 exclusive’s launch period from April 22nd & 23rd, 2014, 5 characters will be available to play in the roster, they are: Siegfried, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Ivy, and Taki.

The final 11 of the 16 total SoulCalibur: Lost Swords characters will become available throughout the year; starting with Nightmare, Hilde, Astaroth, Pyrrha, Amy, Seong, Rock, Cassandra & Patroklos from May 2014 and onwards. You’ll see them appear in Event Quests of their own that rotate monthly for you to play & unlock new playable characters.

Amy, Seong, Rock & Cassandra are the next set of confirmed characters currently in development. And ever since several other Soul Calibur characters were shown in the Tokyo Game Show 2013 trailer it’s been rumored that Inferno, Cassandra, Patroklos, Zasalamel, Seong Mi-na, Raphael & Z.W.E.I. might be coming in the last half of 2014.

How To Unlock Additional Characters?: As you can tell, when you start the game there are only 3 characters to choose from in the roster, namely Siegfried, Sophitia & Mitsurugi. You can unlock 2 more by playing Ivy & Taki’s individual Event Quests, as explained below for each character.

How To Change Characters?: In order to change characters, from the Main Menu screen you must go to the Character sub-menu (find it below Quests). Once there, choose the Character Select Screen (it’s the V sign above the chest icon) to switch between unlocked characters.

Here we’ve listed the secret characters in alphabetical order.
