Boss 12: Royal Rat Vanguard
Defeating the Royal Rat Vanguard in Dark Souls 2. Before the boss will show up, you’ll first have to take out the large rats. Bring a shield in case you get stuck in a corner and the rats gang up on you. Note that the boss will show up near the mist door, so keep your eye on that area and you’ll see his name show up above a rat that looks like the others, but is in fact a 2 to 3 times stronger boss.
Boss 13: Executioner’s Chariot
Taking down the Executioner’s Chariot boss in Dark Souls 2. It’s a two-part fight, where you first have to take out the skeletons and the two skeleton-summoners, while avoiding the chariot by hugging the alcoves on the sides. Second, pull the lever to lower the gate to stop the chariot from running around and then fighting his horse through evasion and light attacks.
Boss 14: Smelter Demon
How to beat the Smelter Demon boss. You’re off to a good start if you summon Lucatiel of Mirrah NPC who tank attacks the boss continually until death.
If you want fire defense against his fire sword mid-way through the battle, then you’ll have to come prepared. By un-petrifying the statue woman in Mejula, who is in a cave near the Things Betwixt entrance and past the guy with the blue sword, then she’ll sell you the quartz rings that gives you fire defense.
Boss 15: The Rotten
This video guide shows how to beat The Rotten Boss in Dark Souls II by continually running away from him and attacking only when his arm attacks hit the ground.
