Location: “Star World-1”

Check out a secret 8-Bit Link from The Legend of Zelda hidden in Super Mario 3D World’s! It even includes the Zelda theme song!

Mario Kart Race Level Easter Egg

Location: “World 3-6: Mount Must Dash”

This level is based off of the Mario Circuit stages in the Mario Kart franchise. The mechanics in this level are different. You are always moving forward no matter what when you hit the boosters and cannot do basic jumps like the long jump or other commands. You pretty much can only jump. Cool Mario Kart reference.
