Mankind must turn to Knack, an unlikely hero, to protect them from a dangerous new threat; the Goblin army. The unassuming Knack stands at a mere three feet tall, but thanks to the power of mysterious ancient relics, he can transform into a powerful brute or even a gigantic wrecking machine. Knack is mankind’s only hope for turning the tide against the invading goblin army, but trying to harness the true power of the relics could threaten to put the whole world at risk.

Chapter 1: His Greatest Creation & Viktor’s Challenge

Welcome to the Knack walkthrough! Ghostrobo will be your voice-over commentator showing you around the game’s levels.

This is the introduction and the first chapter of the game.

The Covered Areas Are:
– Chapter 1-1: His Greatest Creation

Tip: The Health Meter is in the top-right corner of your screen. Collect as many relics as you can to increase Knack’s size and health. Relics fly away when Knack gets attacked, so the level of his health meter plummets. Hit certain objects to get even more relics and keep Knack nice and healthy.

Relics are mysterious items that fuel all the machines in Knack’s world. Collect lots of relics so that Knack gets bigger and stronger. Smash into any objects or secret rooms where relics might be hidden. And collect every relic you come across to extend Knack’s health meter, so he can become even more massive.

Chapter 2: The Adventure Begins, Old Crag Mine & An Unexpected Encounter

Tip: The yellow Sunstone Gauge is in the top-right corner of your screen. Break the yellow sunstones so that Knack can suck up their energy into his sunstone gauge. You can use the stored power to unleash super move attacks.

Sunstones are energized yellow crystals that can be found all around Knack’s world. Collect sunstones to fill Knack’s stunstone gauge, so you can launch super move attacks. Look out for yellow crystals in random objects. Psst! Have you tried knocking sunstones out of lampposts yet? Do it! 🙂 And pick up every single sunstone you can to fill Knack’s sunstone gauge, so he can unleash tons of super move attacks.

Co-Op Tip: If you have a second PlayStation 4 controller, you can turn it on and join the current chapter to activate Knack’s 2-player co-op mode! The second player will join the game as Robo Knack. Robo Knack can help out when normal Knack’s health is low; Replenish Knack’s health by pressing on the Triangle button.
