How to find missing Ryno Plans?: In-game the Ryno Plans will appear simply as large square plans with a grey frame and a bright blue colored light around it, that you can pick up to collect when you walk over it. It can be confirmed as being Ryno Plans simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you your new Ryno Plans count out of the total of 9; and the Plumber will also talk to you about how excited he is you found another piece of the Ryno Holo-Plan.

By pausing the game and looking at the in-game map, you can see how many collectibles you have found on the current planet. The Ryno Plans total for the planet you’re on is tracked in the bottom-left corner of the map. — The exception being Planet Kragg, where they can only be unlocked by winning the Silver & Gold challenges there.

Does the game save each Ryno Plans you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Ryno Plans you just collected if you picked up the Ryno Plan, but it’s still recommended you play to the end of the current mission; at which point a story progression (and thus collectibles progress) save is triggered.
