Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 Walkthrough

With World War 2 Europe overrun by legions of the undead, you must find mankind’s salvation deep in the twisted bowels of Berlin by securing the sacred artefacts that unleashed this damnation. Every step must be paid in blood as players work together against impossible odds and descend further into the demon-infested city and the terrifying Führerbunker itself.

Tackle the campaign online in co-op for up to four players, or embark on the twisted missions alone if you’ve got the bottle.

Featuring new enemies, new environments, blood curdling surprises and the return of the infamous X-ray kill cam, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 will satisfy even the most bloodthirsty of zombie hunters.

    Key Game Features:

    • New campaign. New terrors:
    - Survive an all new stand-alone campaign for up to four players.
    - Endure increasingly hellish new locations and oppressive environments.
    - Confront blood-chilling new enemies including the Fire Demon, and Summoner.

    • Nerve-shredding third-person combat:
    - Experience the trademark sniping, blood-pumping sieges and co-op team play that made the original Nazi Zombie Army a Steam best-seller.
    - Revel in the return of the infamous X-ray kill cam as your bullets purify the putrid insides of the undead in slow motion.
    - Defy the odds and survive against overwhelming hordes with traps, explosives and powerful new machine-gun turrets.

    • More thrills. More blood spilled:
    - Recoil at grotesque new enemies, effects and tense new cinematics.
    - Savour the all-new Carpenter-esque soundtrack inspired by slasher-horror cinema.

As Rebellion CEO and Creative Director Jason Kingsley explains, the studio really wanted to play on the strengths of the original game, recently nominated for ‘Best Action Adventure’ by TIGA in their upcoming awards.

To quote him: “We wanted to twist the occult horror from Nazi Zombie Army into something more nightmarish, more insane. There’s been a huge focus on making the levels more intimidating and the enemies even more grotesque and challenging.”

“The first game really tested players’ abilities to work as a team in co-op, but also allowed solo gamers to hone their skills by multiplying the number of zombies in the campaign. Make no mistake, if you’re looking for shooter that puts your back to the wall, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 has got you covered.”

What different difficulty levels are available?

    * Cadet: For players that want to snipe without too much of a challenge and no bullet ballistics applied to sniper shots.

    * Marksman: For players that want a fair challenge and a bit more realism. Your stance will have an effect on your scope’s steadiness and gravity will affect your bullets.

    * Sniper Elite: For the ultimate challenge. The enemy will hunt you down relentlessly and with brutal precision. Wind will also affect your shots and your heart rate and stance will have a greater bearing on the steadiness of your rifle.

    What are the game’s controls?

Tip: The control layout can be customized via the Controls Menu in the Main Menu.

The default control settings on PC are…

    Mouse: Look/Turn
Mouse Button 1: Shoot, (when looking through Binoculars)
Mouse Button 2: Scope for Rifle, Fine Aim for SMG & Pistol
Mouse Scroll Wheel: Cycle Weapon Zoom In/Out (when using Scope or Binoculars)
    WASD: Move
    1: Sniper Rifle
    2: Secondary Weapon
    3: Pistol
4 to 9: Select inventory item
Spacebar: Action (Climb/Vault, Kick down Melee,)
    B: Binoculars
    Q: Use Cover
E: Pick up (weapons and ammo, search bodies), Empty Lung
    R: Reload
    Z & X: Cycle items
    F: Use equipped item
C: Change stance (tap to Crouch, hold to go Prone)
    Shift: Sprint
    Left Alt: Walk
    Tab: Objective Info
Left Ctrl: ADS (Aim) view for Rifle

How can I improve my gameplay skills?

    Bullet Drop:
    Cadet=N, Marksman=Y, Sniper Elite=Y
As you shoot over greater distances, your bullets are affected by gravity. Compensate for this by aiming the centre of your scope above your targets the further away they are.

    Wind:
    Cadet=N, Marksman=N, Sniper Elite=Y
Sniper bullets are also affected by wind, so pay attention to its direction and strength. Use cues in the environment or watch the indicator at the top of your scope to judge the strength of the wind before firing.

    Heart Rate:
As an elite sniper, you are skilled in applying techniques to make those difficult shots a little bit easier. The key to using those is to watch your heart rate. It will rise with strenuous activity, such as running or climbing or if you are hit by enemy gunfire. Conversely, it will steadily drop if you move slowly and fall quicker if you are stationary. Try to keep your heart rate low for steadier shots.

    Empty Lung:
When your heart rate is 80 BPM or lower, pressing the E key while looking through the scope will temporarily empty your lungs and steady your aim for a short interval. During this time, an aim assistance reticle will appear on the scope to indicate where the bullet will land after taking gravity and wind into account. (Aim assistance reticle will not be displayed on Sniper Elite difficulty.)

    Focus Time:
If your heart rate is below 65 BPM when you enter empty lung, time will appear to slow down, giving you an extra edge against your enemies.

    Remote Detonation:
You can shoot explosive objects in the environment to trigger explosions from a distance. Place TNT and mines or look for grenades around the belts of enemies and explosive barrels to snipe and detonate.

    Chapter 1: Purgatory

Welcome to the Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 walkthrough! Rangris will be your guide showing you around the game’s areas.

World War Two Europe is overrun by legions of the undead and mankind’s only salvation relies on securing the sacred artefacts that unleashed this damnation. Every step must be paid in blood as Karl Fairburne and his three unlikely allies work together against impossible odds as they descend further into the demon-infested city of Berlin and the terrifying Führerbunker itself.

“Chapter 1: Purgatory” Objective: The Nazi Zombie menace continues unabated. Supernatural forces taunt your every move. Your successful escape from Berlin proves to be only temporary…

Part 2 of Chapter 1 concludes the area clearing and siege surviving until we can get to the radio.

Tip: Hold down the Right Ctrl key to shoot from the hip (no-scope).

Note: Reminder, you can tackle the campaign online in co-op for up to four players or embark on the twisted missions alone … if you dare!

    Chapter 2: Gateway To Hell

“Chapter 2: Gateway To Hell” Objective: Berlin. If there is a beacon of hope amid the horror, then this city is surely the furthest from it. Nevertheless, you must venture forth to the Kaiser-Friedrich Museum and recover the Sagarmatha Relic.

In part 2 of Chapter 2 we must reach the bridge and the museum to complete the final trial for the relic.

Tip: Enter ‘Empty Lung’ mode when your heart rate is sufficiently low and time will appear to slow down.

Note: Replay missions to earn higher scores and beat your friends on the leaderboards.

    Chapter 3: Crucible Of Evil

“Chapter 3: Crucible Of Evil” Objective: The second piece of the Sagarmatha Relic is located at the very epicenter of this nightmare: The Fuhrerbunker. Hidden beneath the domed splendor of the Berlin Planetarium, the Fuhrerbunker contains many dark secrets that will likely never be revealed.

    Here’s Part 2 of Chapter 3:

Tip: Plan your defenses carefully & keep a look out for the safe rooms where you can re-group & re-arm!

Note: Search the dead to top up your ammunitions.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 Walkthrough continues on Page 2 with Chapter 4: Terminal.
