Grand Theft Auto 5 Nuclear Waste

When can you start collecting Nuclear Waste Barrels? You’ll be able to do this after completing “The Merryweather Heist” Mission where you pick up the Minisub. You get the submarine for play from buying the old Sonar Collection Dock property for $250,000.

Tip: The moment you enter your submarine to begin your search, the Trackify app will appear in the bottom-right corner to indicate the direction to take and how deep to dive (up to 500 feet) to reach each nearby barrel. The barrels are spread along the entire Los Santos coast.

For the Nuclear Waste Collection the Trackify app and provides a radar that points to the next collectible. The order in this guide matches with the order of the Trackify app. As for why you need this guide, it’s because the app won’t mark any of the waste on your in-game world map. Sometimes a piece of waste is miles away on a different part of the coast. The submarine is also very slow. If you collect everything in one run it will take about 2 hours.

How to find missing Nuclear Waste?: In-game the Nuclear Waste will appear simply as a waste barrel that’s glowing white in the water to stand out from the surroundings when you’re diving with the submarine

You can pick up to collect each barrel by moving your submarine on top of it. It can be confirmed as being Nuclear Waste simply by diving until you are moving over it, as the on-screen text will then tell you that you have “Waste Collected – ??/30 nuclear waste collected.” So each time you pick up another Nuclear Waste barrel, the game will tell you with an on-screen message how many collectibles out of the total you have found so far.

Does the game save each Nuclear Waste you collect?: Only if you have automatic saving turned on. If you don’t have auto-save on, the game will ask you if you want to save. So for the Spaceship Parts you just collected, you don’t have to play to the end of a mission.
