Unlockable Grade Shop Items & Upgrades

After you finish the game once, you’ll be asked to save your game. Afterwards, go back to the game’s main menu and load that same savegame to start your “New Game+”. As you start this, it will give you the option to spend the Grade Points you collected in your first playthrough on Grade Shop items & upgrades to improve your gameplay the second time.

In the following overview is in alphabetical order; The unlockable Items & Upgrades will be followed by their price in Grade Points (GP).

• 1/2 Level – Retain half of your max level when you start a new game. — Price: 2000 GP
• AC +2 – Increase the max AC of your character by 2. — Price: 1500 GP
• Accessories – Carry your accessories over your next file. — Price: 700 GP
• Arts – Retain your Arts and Arts related item over your next file. — Price: 2000 GP
• Arts Count – Keep Arts Usage data. — Price: 100 GP
• Consumables Items – Carry your consumables items over your next file. — Price: 300 GP
• Critical x3 – Damage x2 – Increase Critical rate by triple (includes enemies as well) — Price: 100 GP
• Damage x2 – Increase damage by double (includes enemies as well) — Price: 100 GP
• Drop Rate x2 – Doubles the chance of finding items after battle. — Price: 500 GP
• Experience x2 -Increase the experience earned in battle by double. — Price: 300 GP
• Experience x5 -Increase the experience earned in battle by 5X. — Price: 2000 GP
• Full Level – Retain your max level when you start a new game. — Price: 5000 GP
• Gald – Retain your Gald when you start a new game. — Price: 1000 GP
• Gald x2 -Increase the Gald earned in battle by double. — Price: 300 GP
• Link Gauge -Increase the rate of the Link Gauge by double. — Price: 500 GP
• Material – Carry your material items over your next file. — Price: 500 GP
• Material Point x2 – Increase the rates of material points by double. — Price: 300 GP
• Max 30 Items – Increases the item limit to 30. — Price: 500 GP
• Max 99 Items – Increases the item limit to 99. — Price: 1000 GP
• Max AC +1 – Increase the max AC of your character by 1. — Price: 500 GP
• Monster Data – Carry over your monster logs. — Price: 500 GP
• Shop Level – Retain your shop level when you start a new game. — Price: 1000 GP
• Skill SP 1- All skills are reduced to 1 SP. — Price: 3000 GP
• Special Item – Start a new game with Winged Boots and Arts Ball. 2 — Price: 200 GP
• Unlock All Skits -Unlock all skits. You can view skits at the libary option on your menu. — Price: 3000 GP
• Visual Item – Carry your appearance item (Costume and more) over your next file. — Price: 200 GP

Unlockable DLC Costumes

Pre-ordering the normal edition of Tales of Xillia will automatically upgrade you for free to the Tales of Xillia Limited Edition. Both the Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition & Limited Edition come with a DLC voucher that includes the “Classic Tales Of Costume Pack”.

It contains 1 classic costume for Milla Maxwell and 1 for Jude Mathis, as seen in the image at the top of this page.

How To Get Unlimited Gold & Shop Resources from XP Farming

XP Farming can be done in an area at the start of the game called Galia Trail. Once you arrive at this location, you must search around for a random treasure chest. After finding said treasure chest, its location will be permanently revealed on your map. Then after you’ve found all treasure chest locations in this area, you can now start farming this area of its treasures to level up your store levels. Simply go in and out of the area to respawn the treasure chests. You can also farm the enemies in this location effectively up to level 16. This will give you an edge at the beginning of the game.
