Sega have released the first Sonic: Lost World trailer that shows the debut gameplay footage of the Nintendo Wii U & 3DS exclusive title is a return to true form Sonic the Hedgehog fans are sure to enjoy!
The trailer description reads: “Sonic is back and discovering a lost world in this Wii U and 3DS exclusive.”

The Sonic Team-developed action-adventure platformer will be released sometime in late 2013.
If you ignore the “cinematic” crooked camera angels, the actual gameplay looks like a mix between Super Mario Galaxy and Sonic X-treme, don’t you think? This most definitely seems to be a main series Sonic game! 🙂
