How to find missing Telescopes & Kinetoscopes?: In-game the Telescopes appear as old-fashioned binoculars on a stand that allow you to look around the skies of Columbia. The Kinetoscopes have similar eye goggles, but are standing on a wooden stand and when you look into them a black & white informational movie will play.

They can be confirmed as being Telescopes & Kinetoscopes simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you can press the action button/key to “Use Telescope or Kinetoscope”.

Does the game save all Telescopes & Kinetoscopes you collect?: Yes, BUT the game only automatically saves the Telescopes & Kinetoscopes you just collected at each checkpoint you reach in the chapter you’re playing. So using the Telescope & Kinetoscope alone isn’t enough, you’ll need to make sure to reach the next checkpoint without dying. So after using each collectible you cannot just quit the mission without losing collectibles progress, it’s recommended you play to the end of the mission.

Important Note: After you finish the game you can back into the campaign with chapter select from the main menu to replay chapters where you haven’t found them all yet.
