How to find missing Secrets?: In-game the Secrets will appear simply as items that you can pick up to collect when you stand next to it. It can be confirmed as being Secrets simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you can press the action button/F key to “Pick Up Secrets”.

After picking up each collectible your progress will be confirmed by the on-screen text telling you “Secrets Found”.

ACT 1 Secrets locations

Shown and listed below are the Secrets in the order you might find them in as you progress through the game.

These tips will help you find all Secrets in ACT 1:

ACT 1
Mission 1 – Communication Breakdown

• Secret 1: At the beginning of the mission, you’ll need to take out the two guards next to the ruined shed. After killing the second guard with your thermal sight, head into the shed. The secret will be next to the generator.

• Secret 2: When sneaking under the docks of the large building, you’ll jump up onto a ledge and be demanded to kill the enemy standing directly in front of you. The secret will be to the right of the enemy beneath a staircase.

• Secret 3: After detonating the explosives, head into the building to the right of your escape path. The secret is up the stairs on your right next to a few guards.

• Secret 4: Once you’re on your own, you will soon head up to a church where you will need to cover your allies. As soon as you enter the church, turn right and head up the set of steps. The last secret in mission one will be on the railing overlooking the ground floor.

Mission 2 – From Out of Nowhere

• Secret 1: Secret one can be found about 80 meters from the over watch. Once you’ve killed your first few enemies and crossed the narrow bridge, turn to your right and go up onto the platform. The secret will be behind a large rock.

• Secret 2: After providing over watch for your fellow allies, you will be need to pass through cave to reach the resorts. Once out of the cave, you will come to a Mansion with an outside pool. Go straight past the pool and enter the mansion where the sniper was on top of. The secret will be hiding behind the staircase as soon as you enter through the door.

• Secret 3: After progressing further into the mission, before heading up to the observatory, there will be several enemies wandering around an enemy compound. There will be a figure-8-shaped pool with a house behind it. Walk into the house and the secret will be on a table to the right.

• Secret 4: Once you’ve reached the observatory building, you will see a tall flight of stairs leading up to the sniping spot. Instead of heading all the way up and setting spot, take a left and enter the small room. The secret will be waiting for you on top of a box.

Mission 3 – Leave No Man Behind

• Secret 1: The first secret in mission two can be found at the first beach house that you encounter. It will be on the far left side of the beach house next to a large rock on the shoreline. The secret will be laying sideways in the sand facing the pier.

• Secret 2: After a short cut-scene of you jumping down into the water, you will need to take out the enemies patrolling the beach house. Once they are taken care of, head inside the house and up the stairs. The secret will be resting on top of some cases.

• Secret 3: A little ahead of the beach house you will reach a cable car station. Inside the control room of the cable car station will be the third secret of mission 3.

• Secret 4: Once you’ve reached the upper cable car platform keep going straight untill you reach the last secret.

ACT 2 Secrets locations

ACT 2
Mission 4 – Operation Archangel

• Secret 1: The first secret in Act 2 can be found in the first house to the right of the train tracks. Once Maddox has stealth killed the enemy on the bottom floor, proceed into the next room ahead. The secret will be on the table to the right.

• Secret 2: A little ways ahead, after sneaking past a several guards, you will reach a train station. Once you’ve killed the enemies patrolling the area, head straight towards the middle column of the station. The secret will be on a bench in the middle.

• Secret 3: The third secret can be found once you reach the city square. It’s hiding in a compartment on the bus to the left of the far-right artillery gun.

• Secret 4: The final secret in mission four is kind of tricky. Once you’ve blown up the artillery weapons, head down to the underground entrance and quickly run up ahead of Maddox. The film reel will be on the table directly ahead of you. You must get this as quickly as you can before the guards turn around the corner.

Mission 5 – And Justice for All

• Secret 1: In the first apartment building and after taking out the initial guards, follow Maddox and Merinov up to the second floor. He will ask you to advance one more floor, but instead turn to the left and head to the opposite side of the building. The secret will be resting on a desk in the corner.

• Secret 2: You will soon reach a part where Merinov claims he knows the enemies and decides to go talk with them. After taking the enemies out, head to the right of the downed helicopter and inside the building. The film reel is on the shelf in front of you.

• Secret 3: After you’ve sneaked past the hostiles in the garage, you will come out and notice a large crater in the middle of the road. Head to your far right of the crater and stick to the wall until you reach a gate with a dumpster. The secret is on the ground in front of the dumpster.

• Secret 4: Once finished sneaking past all of the snipers and ground troops in the park, continue to follow Maddox and Merinov inside an apartment building. After heading up the steps, Merinov will go his separate ways. The last secret of mission five is on the table right next to the medkit.

Mission 6 – Ghosts of Sarajevo

• Secret 1: The first secret in the mission can be found on the table to the left of where you retrieve your sniper rifle.

• Secret 2: After escaping the ruined school building and sneaking past the enemies in the courtyard, you will come to a library. The second secret will be on laying on top of a desk on the right hand side of the hall. Make sure you take out the enemy snipers first so you do not get killed in the process of collecting the secret.

• Secret 3: Once you’ve made your way through the park you’ll end up in front of a large, ruined building. Continue up the steps into the building and turn right. The third secret will be right next to a med kit on a desk.

• Secret 4: After killing several enemies on the street from where you found the third secret, continue up ahead until you arrive at Rainbow Hotel. Enter in the hotel and head up the first flight of stairs. Turn left immediately after walking up the stairs and go past the glass mirrors. The last secret will be resting on the coffee table. Make sure you do not head up another set of stairs before you collect this, as there will be a cutscene and you will not be able to collect it without having to start over.

ACT 3 Secrets locations

ACT 3
Mission 7 – Knife in the Dark

• Secret 1: The first secret can be found shortly after sniping the guards in the first area. There will be a guard standing on the platform to the right. After taking him out, head up to where he was standing and turn around towards your sniping spot. The statue is on the edge of the wooden beam.

• Secret 2: Shortly after acquiring the first secret, you will come to a village with a bunch of guards standing by. After taking them out, proceed more towards the village. There will be a truck that is going to stop by so instead of hiding like the objective wants you to do, run up the right-hand stairs and towards the north-most shack and up wooden ladder. The secret will be laying on the table in the middle of the room.

• Secret 3: After eavesdropping on an enemy’s conversation in the caves, continue out of it until you reach a small village. Take the next few enemies out in the area and wait for Diaz to advance. He will go up the left set of stairs, but instead of following him, go up the right set of stairs and into the small hut. Secret number three will be on top of the dresser in the back of the room.

• Secret 4: After sniping several enemies from a tower alongside Diaz, you will head back down and continue to follow Diaz up a silver staircase. Once you open the door, keep following him up another small set of stairs. On your right, there will be some sort of storage shed with a set of stairs leading up to it. Head up the stairs and the last secret will be in the corner.

Mission 8 – Burning Bridges

• Secret 1: The first secret can be found hidden in a basket at one of the campfires you encounter. There will be an enemy resting in a cot, and a few enemies huddling around the fire while having a conversation. Jump down to the right and crawl your way towards the opening. The monk statue is on the basket to your left.

• Secret 2: After diving into the water to avoid the patrol, continue up ahead until Diaz suggests you to take the upper path. Head up the upper path and you’ll notice a lone guard up top walking back and forth into a cave. Follow him into the cave and stealth kill him when you get the chance. The secret is to the right as soon as you enter in the doorway.

• Secret 3: After retrieving your sniper rifle and eliminating the guards near the temple, head downstairs and you’ll notice the secret straight ahead next to a few cots.

• Secret 4: After crossing the bridge to rendezvous with Diaz, and before setting the charges, head up the stairs of the temple. Take a sharp right at the top and the secret will be on top of a table.

Mission 9 – Bad Karma

• Secret 1: After a short scene where you and Diaz stealth kill the guards simultaneously, immediately head to the right instead of following Diaz up the stairs. The first secret in mission 9 is behind the statue.

• Secret 2: When you’re following Diaz up the large set of stairs, you will reach a spot overlooking several enemies in a courtyard. Instead of engaging the enemies first, turn around and you’ll notice the secret sitting in the corner of the room.

• Secret 3: After cleaning out the courtyard full of enemies, and taking out the two snipers that attack you, steer right from the main path and head towards the corner of the courtyard where you killed the first two snipers. The secret is behind the wall on your far right. Refer to the picture below for the precise location.

• Secret 4: You will come to an area where you must take out two enemies, one being a machine gunner who is mounted on the turret. Once they are taken care of, turn left and you’ll notice a bell. Go prone and crawl under the bell. The last secret will be to your left once you’ve finished crawling under the bell.

Mission 10 – No Loose Ends

• Secret 1: At the beginning of the level, you will get ambushed by your old pal, Maddox. After Diaz launches the smoke grenade and you safely pass the field, you will come up on a balcony overlooking a large open area full of enemies. Instead of shooting the fuel can, turn around and pick up the secret that’s on the left of the balcony.

• Secret 2: After taking out all of the enemies in the field, follow Diaz up the field. When he gets to the set of the stairs on the right, take a left. The secret will be laying on the ground in front of the door.

• Secret 3: After a close encounter with Maddox from an enemy knocking you on your ass, you will get up and be required to save Diaz from enemies on the bridge. Facing the bridge, look directly behind you to see the secret resting on the bench.

• Secret 4: After blowing up the barrels in the tower where Maddox was, you will cross a bridge and end up in a small room. Head up the ladder and out the door straight ahead. The last secret in the game will be to your left chilling on a barrel.
