Not right away. But yes, the game will save the Left Arms you just collected at the end of the chapter you’re in. That means you must finish the level to save your progress. If you die or restart the level/mission/chapter, then you might have to collect some items all over again.

How do I get the reward for the Left Arms I’ve collected?
