Crysis 3 comes to PC, PS3 & Xbox 360 worldwide the week of February 19th, 2013.

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli has said that the PC version of Crysis 3 will “melt down PC’s” (figuratively speaking of course) because of its highest image quality system requirements. That’s because it uses some of the new CryEngine 3 features including: Displacement mapping, particle and volumetric fog shadows, improved dynamic cloth and vegetation, dynamic caustics, improved area lighting, and diffuse shadows.

Developed by Crytek in parallel with the game’s console versions, Crysis 3 for PC supports a host of graphical enhancements, hardware optimizations and support for the latest CPU and GPU features, and is optimized to run across a wide range of PC setups. Crytek tested extensively on a variety of hardware and are very confident in the performance even at the minimum specs. If you’ve got the power, it’ll also be capable of running at 60 FPS!
