In this 16th level you must take on Mundus’ elite guards as you enter the tower, such as the Dreamrunner and Drekavac.
Dreamrunner fighting tip: The Dreamrunner can parry Dante’s ranged attacks back at him… but you can return them again with a well timed strike.
Furnace fire tips: The fire Kat tells you to avoid is emitted from the ground up every 7 seconds. The fire can only damage you while you are in the air, so do your best to move between platforms very quickly. Since While you’re standing on solid ground you’re safe.
Also, during the fight sequences make sure that you are not pushed into the fire by your enemies.
Here’s the solution how to line up the four conduits with their servers and solve the puzzle:
Organize the puzzle into the correct order by picking one side at a time. Punch the red circle in the middle of each of the four conduits (use the Eryx gauntlets on the red circles) to rotate the blue circle to the center of the room.
Keep rotating as shown in the video guide until all four blue circles are in the middle, success is indicated by a blue line showing up around the centered blue circle(s). The best tactic here is to start by moving two blue circle in their center position first, and then moving the conduit that connects to both of them two times so both are out of the way of the other gears moving. This frees up your brain to only focus on the last two blue circles on the opposite side; and then centering those will be much easier too. Once the last two blue circles are in the center, you simply move the first two blue circles back to the center and the puzzle will be solved!
Mundus boss fight tips:
The main trick here is to avoid his punches by jumping away from the circle you see on the ground before each punch hits. Then hook yourself towards his landed fist quickly and attack it.
The video guide includes further strategies showing how to beat the Mundus boss fight. It starts by targeting his glowing eye, the rest of the instructions will be provided in-game by Dante’s brother Vergil. Let’s kick some Demon King arse!
Vergil boss fight tips:
You cannot fight him head-on, because he’ll simply block all your attacks that way. Instead, attack him whenever he does anything to do damage.
When Virgil goes down on one knee, go into Devil Trigger mode and then attack him to finish him off. Note that if you don’t have enough Orbs, fight his Phantom to get more.
This next video guide includes more strategies showing how to beat the Vergil boss fight.
