WB, TT, LEGO & MARVEL together announced the Lego Marvel Super Heroes release date is October 18th 2013 (Friday) in Europe & Australasia and on October 22nd 2013 (Tuesday) in America & Canada for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Windows PC, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS; with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases following when those consoles launch sometime in November 2013.
After checking the official game websites and the game’s announcement press releases in different languages, each one actually refers to a different period of the year in which the game could be released… meaning the Lego Marvel Super Heroes launch could still change to anytime in October to November 2013. Listed above are the most exact release date details suggested so far.
Franchise owners The LEGO Group and Marvel Entertainment announced: On their websites is written that “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be available beginning Fall 2013.” Normally a LEGO game then sees release mid-November, so it’s great to see we’re getting the game a month earlier.
Developer Traveller’s Tales Games suggests: The game could be released between the third to fourth quarter of the year, during the Summer or Winter of 2013, between June and November of 2013.
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment mentions: The game’s release date is “Autumn 2013” in the first press release, which falls near the last quarter of the year, between September and December of 2013.
As you know, each year there are usually two big LEGO games released. I think the reason why Lego Marvel Super Heroes could be released in the last half of 2013 is because in the first half there’s the Wii U-exclusive Lego City: Undercover console game being released already in March 2013.
