Here’s how to start the Strikeforce Missions in Black Ops 2, where you control a squad of soldiers, drones, and mechs at the same time like a real-time strategy style game.

I was playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 the other day and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to begin playing the Strikeforce Missions that the game reminds you to play during the single player Campaign mode. So here’s the solution…

How To Start The Strikeforce Missions In Black Ops 2

The Problem: Once you play through enough of the Campaign mode, you’ll unlock Strikeforce Missions as you progress or fail certain missions. For example: Failing to rescue Karma in Colossus will result in unlocking the Strikeforce Mission titled “Second Chance” to try to resque her a second time. But how do you actually start these missions up?

The Solution: When you’re on the Campaign Mission Briefing’s final screen, where it says you only have to press the ‘start next mission’ button (A on Xbox 360 / X on PS3) to “Start Level” then DO NOT do that. Instead simply press to the right side on your left analog stick to make the available Strikeforce Missions appear one after another for you to start before continuing the Campaign.

It’s important to do all of these Strikeforce Missions before you start the “Suffer With Me” level, because after finishing that several Strikeforce Missions will disappear as an option, since you’ll have progressed into the story too far to change the outcome.

This literally had me stumped how to start the Strikeforce Missions before they’d disappear, so I hope this helped someone out!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Strike Force Mission 1 – FOB Spectre Walkthrough.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Strike Force Mission 2 – Shipwreck Walkthrough.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Strike Force Mission 3 – IED.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Strike Force Mission 4 – Second Chance.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Strike Force Mission 5 – Dispatch.
