Here’s the list of this week’s new video game releases. Popular video games released this week are: Anarchy Reigns, and Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable.

New on the downloadable games front is:

• Newly available on the PlayStation Store: [updates Tuesday]
  Demon’s Souls, Rise of the Guardians, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, Dance Magic (PS3), Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable (PS Vita), Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom, Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Mermaids, Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess, Go Diego Go! Great Dinosaur Rescue, Go Diego Go! Safari Rescue (PS2 Classics).
• What’s added on Xbox Live Marketplace: [updates Wednesday]
  Unknown (XBLA).
• New games on the Wii Shop, DSiWare, 3DS & Wii U eShop: [updates Thursday]
  Unknown in America and Europe.
• PC game additions on Steam: [updates all week]
  The Steam Holiday Encore Sale extended to January 7, 2012.
