Mission 5: The Scorcher Threat
At the start of “The Scorcher Threat” mission, use the security access card in the control station. Then with Sarah find the entrance to the Scorcher base.
In Part 2 of the 5th mission “The Scorcher Threat” we try to find the kidnapped Sarah.
Tip: Cook your grenades for a few seconds before throwing them so enemies can’t evade their explosion.
The Scorcher Base Puzzle Solution
Puzzle Question: What’s the solution to the Scorcher Base puzzle with the skull, crystalite & flame in the flammable gas room?
Puzzle Solution: Take the crystal from the platform on the right, and the cock in the center starts going down. Then just place the skull on the platform to the left. — Thanks for the tip Kake!
In Part 3 of the 5th mission “The Scorcher Threat” we must eliminate the Scorcher threat, but not before we solve that Scorcher Base puzzle!
Tip: As you infiltrate the enemy base, you’ll be attacked by the Scorcher airship. Take it down by shooting your BFG rounds at the blue-lighted parts of the ship.
Next, you’ll see what happens after taking down the airship.
Ending
The final part of the “The Scorcher Threat” mission shows the DLC’s ending. First, we must eradicate the last of the Scorchers and then rescue Sarah by pressing the left & then right column to free her.
