The multiplatform Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release was a massive success, although not as massive as last year’s COD. 7.5 Million shooter fans bought the game! Here’s the TV commercial starring Movie and Youtube peoples:

System Sales in November 2012:

#1. Xbox 360 – Sold 1.26 Million Units. (-25.9% year-over-year, but still twice the sales of any other system)
#2. Nintendo 3DS – Sold 540,000 Units. (-32.1%)
#3. PlayStation 3 – Sold 525,000+ Units on Black Friday alone. (+9%)
#4. Nintendo Wii U – Sold 425,000 Units.
#5. Nintendo Wii – Sold 420,000 Units. (-51.1%)
#6. Nintendo DS – Sold 370,000 Units. (+5.7%)
#7. PlayStation Vita – Sold 225,000 Units.

More and more gamers are getting connected through Xbox Live and using Xbox 360 for both gaming and as a multimedia box.

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter adds that these November sales results — a record 12 months of declines — are worse than he expected.

To quote: “The culprit was Wii U hardware sales, which came in about $50 million below expected, and sales of Nintendo handhelds, the DS and 3DS. Wii U hardware was sold out, we checked, so it’s a supply issue. But Wii U software sales were abysmal, only New Super Mario Bros. U sold any meaningful units.”
