Conan O’Brien Funny Dialog Easter Egg

Before you set out for “Mission 6: Shutdown” in the Halo 4 Campaign near the end of the game when Master Chief is about to go to war, one of the last things he sees before departing the UNSC Infinity starship is two Marines talking in the corner of this massive hanger where the Pelican dropship that Commander Thomas Lasky arranged for Master Chief to fly is. The two characters are voiced by TV talkshow comedy host Conan O’Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter, and if you look for them you’ll see their characters standing guard next to supply crates. Their dialog includes…

• If you wait around they’ll randomly start chatting about their “exciting” lives aboard the spaceship.
• Slap them with your weapon using melee and you might get additional funny dialog out of them! 😆

This video shows the announcement of them playing a part in Halo 4, listen to it to hear all their dialog.

This behind-the-scenes recording booth video from the Conan O’Brien Show at developer 343 Industries shows how they both got to appear in the Xbox 360 game.

Humping Hologram Easter Egg

You may have heard of a “I WON!” victory dance in the Halo games wherein a person repeatedly crouches with his/her bum on the face of the enemy’s body they just killed. It’s called Teabagging or Humping.

Well, in Halo 4 you can activate a Hologram to distract enemies in multiplayer. Holograms are more realistic now than ever! That’s because the Hologram walks forward over a by you previously killed enemy body, the Hologram will stop and start HoloHumping their body like crazy, hahaha!

Red VS Blue Easter Egg

If you can find one of the RvB Easter Eggs in Halo 4’s Spartan Ops, you’ll unlock the “Roses vs Violets” Achievement worth 20 Gamerscore Points!

Location: In Halo 4’s Spartan Ops “Chapter 5: Core” at The Cauldron. From the Forerunner bridge look down at the boiling lava through your scope until you see a box on the rocks near the lava. Shoot it to unlock the Easter Egg, which will come in the form of funny dialog in the middle of your next objective being relayed to you by Caboose.

Double Rainbow Easter Egg

I’m sure you’re all too familiar with the Youtube guy “high on life” expressing his amazement at seeing a double rainbow and asking “Double Rainbow, what does it mean?” Well, the meme turned easter egg has made its way into Black Ops, Borderlands 2 and now Halo 4 too!

Location: In “Mission 5: Reclaimer” about halfway through. When you can leave the Mammoth, look for a waterfall on the rocks to the left.

Dancing Grunts Easter Egg

This can be found in the “All Things Lost and Found” mission during the “Defend The Composer” Objective near the end of the game. Look for the Mantis and you’ll see Covenant troops, mainly Grunts, dancing around it!

Halo 4 Limited Edition Game Boxes Easter Egg

In “Mission 1: Dawn” in the airlock before you go out onto the outer hull to fire the warhead, if you look around the airlock there are Halo 4 Limited Edition game boxes floating around! They are all around the Forward Unto Dawn starship.

Discoveries by: Of course the RoosterTeeth team would be the first ones to discover their Red VS Blue easter eggs. IGN found Conan. And ChemicalDexta found Halo 4 game boxes in-game.
