Doom 3 BFG Edition is the ultimate collection of groundbreaking games that defined the First-Person Shooter (FPS) game genre. All Doom 3 content has been re-mastered for Xbox 360 & PS3 for an even more terrifying FPS experience, and as the subtext to the edition’s name suggests, all the content included feature guns and other weapons of substantial power and size.

The Story:

Welcome back to Hell! The ruins of an ancient Martian civilization have unlocked the secrets to teleportation, and the UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation) will stop at nothing to harness this world-altering technology. As part of a marine detachment sent to protect the facility, your duty seemed simple enough… until the invasion. Now, in an epic clash against pure evil you must fight to understand who is with you, who is against you, and what must be done to stop this nightmare from reaching earth.

Doom 3 Campaign

Level 1: Mars City

Mars City – Union Aerospace Corporate Division

Mars City is the gateway to all of Union Aerospace’s Mars Base. All arriving personnel are processed here before moving to their assigned posts. Mars City houses the primary Marine Operations control room as well as the main administrator’s office.

Note: Commentator Dan has a potty mouth, so be warned about that.

Tip: Having a tough time getting past a certain part of a level? Try saving manually (from the Pause menu) to retain incremental progress.

Level 2: Mars City Underground

Mars City Underground – Union Aerospace Subsystems

The Mars City sublevel was one of the first multi-purpose installations built on Mars. Housing storage, environmental systems, localized enery production, communications arrays, and rudimentary research systems, the aging facility is vital to keeping Mars City operational.

Tip: Some control panels can be used to operate machinery.

Level 3: Alpha Labs

Alpha Labs Administration

Your new objective is to join up with Bravo Team in Alpha Labs. Go through Administration for entry into the Alpha Labs Sector.

Hint: Use the Grabber to deflect enemy projectiles back at them.

Hint: The splash damage from weapons like the rocket launcher and grenades damage you as well as your opponents — avoid use in close range.
