Console Commands:

To activate all Doom 3 BFG Edition cheats, during the single player game you should first press on Ctrl + Alt + ~ (that last symbol is a tilde) to bring up the command console. After that you can lookup below what cheats there are & what their codes to enter are.

Doom 3 BFG Edition Cheats on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC

How to unlock Nightmare Difficulty:

Finish the entire game to unlock the Nightmare Difficulty Mode on consoles and PC. This a much more difficult version of the game in which your health is always depleting. This works on both Doom 3 & Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil and possibly on Doom 3: The Lost Mission.

How to activate God Mode:

To become invincible, when playing Doom 3 hold the Left Trigger and press the X, Y, B, A buttons (on Xbox) to enter God Mode.
Note: This is untested on Xbox 360 & PS3; on the latter the cheat would be hold the Left Trigger and press the Square, Triangle, O, X buttons (on PlayStation) to turn on invincibility.

How to Skip a Level:

Level Skip can be done on the Objectives Screen in the PDA, hold the left trigger and press the B, A, X, Y buttons (on Xbox 360) or press the O, X, Square, Triangle buttons (on PS3).
Note: This is untested in the Doom 3 BFG Edition.
