New Super Mario Bros 2 Star Coins Locations Guide

Looking for the New Super Mario Bros 2 Star Coins? This locations guide for the Nintendo 3DS game will show you the locations of all 240 big hidden coins. All Star Coins are spread throughout the levels, 3 Star Coins per level, and give the game more replay value for those players willing to hunt them down to unlock alternate paths on the world map. After the first 6 Worlds are done, the Star Coins are changed into New Super Mario Bros 2 Moon Coins for the Special Star World, and although they can’t be used as Star Coins they are still the same collectible.

This Star Coins hunt is worth the effort, because collecting all of them in each of the 9 worlds makes sure you can unlock the paths to the 80 overworld levels and mushroom houses! That makes this collectible a requirement to get 100% completion in New Super Mario Bros. 2!

Here’s your personal voice-over commentator Laura giving you an introduction! 😀
