Darksiders 2 Weapons Guide
This video guide shows an overview of the different Weapons and Skills in Darksiders II.
The next video guide shows how to get additional Armor, Weapons and Gear from Loot that enemies drop after dying or that Death picks up from opening treasure chests.
Gear tiers are: common, uncommon, rare, elite, possessed, and legendary. So there’s a lot of weapons to collect!
The heavy, scythe and melee weapon level, other stats, and special ability after upgrading are displayed on the Darksiders 2 Weapons page.
Tip: The easy way to figure out how to use each new weapon you unlock is by turning on? Tutorials. Then the game tells you how to use the weapon.
“Looks Familiar” Achievement (10G) / Trophy (Bronze) unlocks when you “Collect Redemption”.
Weapon Location: In the “Chapter 3: Tears of the Mountain” first quest “Road to the Drenchfort” after “Fire of the Mountain” make sure to talk to Alya, she’ll give Death his brother Strife’s pistol Redemption to use as thanks for getting the lava flowing again. You’ll need that handgun/pistol regularly in the game to destroy Shadowbombs by shooting at them.
Description: A powerful pistol belonging to Death’s brother Strife.

“The Spectral Touch” Achievement (10G) / Trophy (Bronze) unlocks when you “Collect Deathgrip”.
Weapon Location: During the Quest “Heart of the Mountain”.
Description: With the Deathgrip ability, Death can grasp certain targets from a long distance; he uses this to his advantage by either pulling himself to larger targets or bringing smaller objects in to him.

“By Your Command” Achievement (10G) / Trophy (Bronze) unlocks when you “Collect the Interdiction Stone”.
Weapon Location: After you complete the “Toll of the Kings” quest, head back to the training ground area.
Description: Gives the bearer the power of command over the Dead Lords of the Abyssal Plains. Who, by the way, are just the nicest fellows.

“Death Will Tear Us Apart” Achievement (10G) / Trophy (Bronze) unlocks when you “Collect the Soul Splitter”.
Weapon Location: After “The Court of Bones” Quest, travel back to deliver the 3 souls to the King.
Description: The Lord of Bones has looked into Death’s soul and unlocked previously hidden potential. Death may now split his spirit into two halves, allowing them to be moved and controlled separately from his physical form, which turns to stone and is virtually invulnerable. Thus his Life & Death forms allow him to be in two places at the same time!

“I Can Has Cake?” Achievement (10G) / Trophy (Bronze) unlocks when you “Collect the Voidwalker”.
Weapon Location: In The Ivory Citadel, at the beginning of the “Stains of Heresy” Quest.
Description: Allows Death to summon two portals on special surfaces, through which he can move instantaneously.
It’s known you’ll need to use the Voidwalker to solve puzzles in The Ivory Citadel. This weapon creates two portals on select areas for Death to teleport in between them, portal 1 is orange and portal 2 will be blue. It works similarly to the Portal Gun in the Portal series, except the Voidwalker can shoot a portal through another portal.

“Tearing Time A New One” Achievement (10G) / Trophy (Bronze) unlocks when you “Collect the Phasewalker”.
Weapon Location: This is the upgraded version of the Voidwalker.
Description: The Phasewalker lets Death create portals on select areas to teleport between the past and present.
