Top 30 Most Wanted Games of 2012

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu’s newest issue has a section where their thousands of readers can vote on their Top 30 Most Wanted Games of 2012 by favorite platform. This week saw quite a few changes worth checking out.

Resident Evil 6 for PlayStation 3 stays the number one most wanted game. With Monster Hunter 4 for Nintendo 3DS moving up to number two thanks to the added hype it got from being shown off at the Capcom Summer Jam. Newcomers this high in the list are: The soon-to-be-released New Super Mario Bros. 2 for Nintendo 3DS, and the newly announced Tales of Xillia 2 for PlayStation 3.

While Square Enix the other day confirmed that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still very much in development, recent rumors it was cancelled pushed the game down from number eight to fourteen, and as you can see from the numbered list, the previous placement for each game is listed behind the current position.
