Remember that Crysis 3 announcement leaking early via an Origin.com blunder? To our benefit, EA’s digital distribution service Origin has done it again by accidentally putting up the wrong advert on Origin.com that confirms a Battlefield 4 Beta.

The Origin.com advertisement read: “Pre-Order Medal of Honor: Warfighter today for exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta Access. Pre-Order Now: $69.99″

Since the leak became public (as seen in the screencap at the top of this page), EA quickly pulled it and replaced it with a Battlefield 3 Premium advert. Which is logical, since the Battlefield 3 downloadable content will keep coming until March 2013.

Electronic Arts president Frank Gibeau previously stated “There is going to be a Battlefield 4″, so it’s pretty obvious this leak is legit. Of course for the time being EA isn’t confirming anything, saying on their Twitter: “Battlefield 4? If it isn’t on Battlefield.com, it isn’t official!”

Hopefully they’ll confirm another Battlefield sequel with an announcement trailer soon enough. Let’s have some more of this goodness please…

Update: Not a day later and EA has officially confirmed Battlefield 4. The Medal of Honor: Warfighter developer diary announced the Battlefield 4 Beta at the start of this video…

Do you want the Battlefield 4 Beta if a MOH: Warfighter pre-order is the only way to get it?
