What were the top 10 bestselling games in America, Japan, and Europe? Thanks to Amazon online sales data here are the games that are the hottest worldwide.

What follows is a listing of the Top 10 bestsellers per region, for all systems combined.

North America’s Top 10 Games:

1. Diablo III (PC, Mac)
2. Tera Online (PC)
3. Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360)
4. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (Xbox 360)
5. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (Xbox 360)
6. Mass Effect 3 (PS3)
7. Just Dance 3 (Wii)
8. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360)
9. Mortal Kombat (PS Vita)
10. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (PS3)

Before this newest game came out, the Diablo series had sold 8 million units worldwide. So it’s no surprise Blizzard has a lot of hype going for the third game in the franchise. Diablo III has managed to sell 6.3 million copies in the first week of its release! Wow!

Dragon’s Dogma was released worldwide by Capcom this week. While the experience was overall received positively, the highest ranking it obtained was #1 in its homeland of Japan. The single player game has a little bit of something for every type of games, from action role-playing, including open world gaming, and hack ‘n slash fighting, to survival horror.
