    Elder Scrolls Online

“Nerdy News” is a mini-news show geared towards gamers, technosexuals, and all other geeky peeps.

In this sixty-fourth episode of Nerdy News, I’ll be reporting on:

    • New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be the first major first-party 3DS game released as both a boxed game and as a digital download.
    • A pitch for an official Legend of Zelda Lego set achieved the needed 10,000 supporters.
    • Microsoft is producing a live-action web series called “Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn”.
    • The Elder Scrolls MMO has been officially announced.

Here’s the new episode of Nerdy News!

    What do you think?

Will Nintendo’s push towards digital downloads help improve their waning sales? Is having digital releases sold as codes at physical stores a good idea? Would you like a Legend of Zelda Lego set? Do you plan to watch Halo’s web mini-series? Are live-action tie-in’s a good way to promote a video game?

If you have any advice or tips on how I can improve these videos let me know in the comments! Thanks for all of your opinions! ^_^

The Elder Scrolls MMO? Be still my beating heart! ^_-

I’ve downloaded so many 3DS VC games already, I’m not sure I’ll have enough room to download more than 1 or 2 full games (unless I upgrade from 2GB to a 32GB memory card) so I’ll probably stick to cartridges for the new Mario game.

I’m always excited about any new Halo game, so I’m definitely watching the mini-series (how could I not!?). It’s going to be epic for sure if it’s like the Halo 3 live-action shorts leading up to the game. I still want to buy that Halo anime that ties into Halo 3, but I keep forgetting what it’s called…

So you’re a really really big Elder Scrolls fan I take it Laura? :-D

Yes, I’m definitely an Elder Scrolls fangirl, probably to a fault. I just remember being a teen and claiming to anyone who would listen that my Morrowind character could kick the butt of anyone’s character.

I’m pretty excited for Halo 4 too, although all that excitement is wrapped up in gut-wrenching worry that it might be the end for the franchise if it does poorly. The “Halo Legends” anime is pretty good, and I would recommend watching it. I really want to see this miniseries they are going to put up, it’s making me want Halo 4 even more.

Halo Legends! So that’s what it was called, thanks! I’ll look up the DVD. :) Nice, well, it looks like you’ll get your fill of Elder Scrolls with Skyrim DLC this year and the MMO next year.
