What were the top 10 bestselling games in America, Japan, and Europe? Thanks to Amazon online sales data here are the games that are the hottest worldwide.

What follows is a listing of the Top 10 bestsellers per region, for all systems combined.

North America’s Top 10 Games:

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360)
2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3)
3. Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360)
4. Just Dance 3 (Wii)
5. Tera Online (PC)
6. Zumba Fitness 2 (Wii)
7. Battlefield 3 (Xbox 360)
8. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3)
9. Battlefield 3 (PS3)
10. Kinect Star Wars (Xbox 360 Kinect)

Last November Activision pulled off the biggest media launch ever with 9 million copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sold worldwide in its first 3 weeks in America alone. Crazy as it sounds, that may mean that this year it’s set to have more than 25+ million sales worldwide!

Last week Nintendo finally released Mario Party 9 in Japan two months after the rest of the world was seen partying on their livingroom couch. The Wii game features a whopping 80 minigames and has quickly become the #1 bestselling game in this region as well!

Sniper Elite V2 has made its way to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 & PC this week. The anticipated sequel features a new X-Ray Kill Cam to display killshots, which are a welcome addition to the sniping action of such a tactical shooter.
