Konami is attempting to get Metal Gear fans to pay attention to an upcoming re-reveal of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The company has released the first recovered video segment from agent Raiden’s severed arm.
Apparently Raiden’s personal memories have become entangled due to trauma. The live-action footage didn’t quite have the intended effect, with a lot of dislike from fans who didn’t notice the “Solid” was dropped from the “Metal Gear” title to indicate it’s going to be a very different experience compared to Snake’s adventures. But it’s just a teaser for things to come after all, and so the now by Platinum Games developed game’s gameplay footage should show what kind of hack ‘n slach actiong ame Raiden will deliver.
By speeding up the decryption process of the below video segment, a password “Ray” has been uncovered. When you go to the official Metal Gear Rising website and enter the code in the “Enter Command” field, it’ll bring up a blueprint of a Metal Gear Ray.
Here’s the “Make It Right” Lost Arm trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released in late 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
