    Sony has announced the rumored Title Fight fighting game is called PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale. It will be a PlayStation 3-exclusive, due in late 2012.

    Sony characters from all over the gaming spectrum are brought together in a fighting adventure that’s both easy to play, and hard to master. Take the battle online for competitive multiplayer action, or go head to head with a group of friends on the couch and prove once and for all who’s really the best!

    Playable characters revealed in the debut trailer below are:

    * Kratos (God of War),
    * Sly Cooper,
    * Mael Radec (Killzone),
    * Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal),
    * Fat Princess, and
    * Parappa the Rapper.

    The fighting game is in development at the by Sony created studio SuperBot Entertainment, who have this to say about the game:

    “Today we finally get to share our game with the world! PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale existed as an idea in the hearts of gamers way before SuperBot got around to making it, and the expectations of the fans are really what drive us. This game is a labor of love, and we’re excited to be able to finally show it.”

    Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. first came out back in 1999 on the N64. I guess it took Sony 13 years to figure out their fans wanted a free-for-all brawler too! :D

    My guesses for future characters are Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Crash Bandicoot, Cole MacGrath (Infamous), and Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet). But who else could there be in the game?

    Who do you want to play as in All-Stars Battle Royale?
