Welcome to our Video Games: Song Covers segment. Here I’ll be singing some of your favourite and most requested video game tracks.

Hi gamers! First of all, thank you to everyone who voted in last week’s video game song poll! Here I’m performing the winning song: “Sanctuary” from the Kingdom Hearts II soundtrack! Like the game’s first theme “Simple and Clean”, “Sanctuary” was both written and originally performed in English and Japanese by singer/songwriter Utada Hikaru. The Japanese versions of the songs are titled “Hikari” and “Passion” respectively. The Kingdom Hearts II soundtrack was composed and arranged by Yoko Shimomura, which consists of arranged Disney songs as well as Shimomura’s original works.

I hope you enjoy my vocal cover, as well as the instrumental arrangement that Sebastian and I prepared for this performance. Your comments and feedback are much appreciated, and I look forward to the next video game song poll results!
