Nintendo hit as game industry sales down

“Nerdy News” is a mini-news show geared towards gamers, technosexuals, and all other geeky peeps.

In this sixty-third episode of Nerdy News, I’ll be reporting on:

A 10-year-old creates a video game for his disabled grandmother.
Rumors abound about more collaboration between Apple and Valve.
A video game themed mini golf course.
The gaming industry has taken a hit and Nintendo is bearing the brunt of it.

Does young Dylan’s game make you think about the lack of video games for disabled people? Should Valve try to take their iOS client in the same direction of OnLive? Should they provide playable games on iOS devices? What do you think are the major causes behind Nintendo’s downward spiral?

i think its because nintendo stopped making new wii games every month
im sure they are working on wii u instead but less releases equals less sales

Probably or that Nintendo is not making any new big tittles for the Wii.

Nintendo sales are probably down because they quit catering to gamers. How many good games (for hardcore gamers) are on the Wii? How many were on the GameCube? How many of N64? Now, out of those few games, how many were exclusively on Nintendo?
