Welcome to another Let’s Talk video with Meg!

In this video I will be talking a little bit about my initial thoughts on the PSP port of the Persona 3 video game (originally released for the Playstation 2 console), Persona 3 Portable!

Take a look at my Persona 3 Portable mini-review!

Overall I don’t have too much to report on this game.

Though I find the concept interesting and am enjoying it enough to continue playing, nothing so far has really grabbed or excited me. If I am honest, I’m finding ‘P3P’ a little disappointing.

So far I feel the pacing is off and the cutscenes are a little bland; I am hours into the gameplay and still waiting for the party to start. Perhaps the third title in the series was not a good place to begin for a Persona-first-timer like me…

So if I were to give this game an overall fun-factor (based on the small sliver I have played so far) I would say it’s a 7 out of 10.

Remember! This is my personal opinion; the only way you can determine what you’ll make of a game is to play it for yourself. Is Persona 3 Portable right up your alley as a gamer? Then try it out!

So what do you think? Are you have you played both versions of the game? Perhaps you prefer the original port? Don’t forget to leave your comments and opinions in the section below!

“Perhaps the third title in the series was not a good place to begin for a Persona-first-timer like me…  ”
Actually, due to none of the persona games being related in plot (Apart from both Persona 2 games), Persona 3 is actually often recommended as a good starting point to get into the series, due to it being easier to get into than 1 & 2.
Also, you may have noticed, but it takes a while to get going.
