Microsoft has announced the brand new and very SHINY “Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Series Wireless Controllers”. They’ll be available in the colors Blue, Red and Silver, and the controllers also feature the transforming D-pad.
The controllers will have an estimated retail price of US $54.99 each and will be available in stores around mid-May, 2012.

If I didn’t already have four controllers, I’d be all over that bright red controller!! But as it stands, I’ve got two white controllers from my defunct Xbox 360, and two black controllers from my Xbox 360 Elite. Still, that chrome red one looks sooo good!
