New Nintendo downloads this week in America and Europe. The games go live on Thursdays in America at 9AM Pacific time and in Europe at 5PM UK/GMT time.

Nintendo has now added new/classic games to the Wii Shop Channel, Nintendo DSi Shop and Nintendo 3DS eShop. Users with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points or Nintendo DSi Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo DSi Points can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. While the Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service, where virtual wallets are added to using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. A Nintendo Points Card can be purchased at retail locations or Amazon.com.

• Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH! (3DSWare, $5)
Game Description: Play minigolf with your Mii character and master new cups and trick-shot challenges in beautiful environments. Play 54 holes spread across America, Asia and Europe. The perfect touch-screen controls make for a fun and rewarding putting experience.
• Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (3DS Virtual Console / NES, $5)
Game Description: Play as young boxer Little Mac and battle the big guys of the World Video Boxing Association. Take them on one by one, from Glass Joe all the way to the WVBA Champion himself.

• Zuma’s Revenge (800 DSi Points / $8)
Description: An irresistible force has taken our fearless frog to a newly evolved world of Zuma with 60 Adventure levels ruled by six evil tiki bosses. Fire stone spheres to destroy the deadly stream of balls in this ball-blasting challenge.

• The King of Fighters ’97 (Wii Virtual Console / NEO-GEO, 900 Wii Points)
Description: The King of Fighters ’97 is the fourth game in the King of Fighters series, once again allowing players to combat opponents with popular characters from Fatal Fury, Ikari Warriors, Psycho Soldier, Art of Fighting and other titles. The character roster changes with every iteration, and new characters in this 1997 title include Chizuru Kagura – a boss character from the previous title – as well as popular SNK characters Ryuji Yamazaki, Blue Mary and Billy Kane, and new characters Yashiro Nanakase and Shingo Yabuki. Players can also choose between Advanced and Extra play modes to greatly alter the gameplay.

Description: First there was Kid Icarus for NES (and now 3D Classics for Nintendo 3DS) in which angelic warrior Pit fought against the forces of Medusa. Five years later, Pit returned in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for Game Boy. Expanding on the original action game with a multidirectional-scrolling action-adventure, this time Pit faced off against the forces of the mysterious demon Orcos. It would take 20 years for Pit to take flight again, in Kid Icarus: Uprising for Nintendo 3DS!

Description: Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa’s Revenge is the fourth instalment in the Samurai Shodown series launched in 1996. The combat system is essentially the same as in the third instalment, Blades of Blood, with tweaks added to enhance the combat experience, such as a vastly altered Rage Explosion System and more powerful chain combos. The ending also changes depending on the time taken to clear the game, encouraging players to improve their skills and speed if they want to see the One True Ending. Players can choose from 17 samurai warriors, including new characters Kazuki Kazama and Sogetsu Kazama, to battle their way through the game.
