    Alan Wake's American Nightmare

Here I’ll be sharing my video game picks for the end of the week, and suggesting some awesome current games for you to get into this weekend!

This weekend will be filled with survival horror, and psychology thriller gaming goodness! I recently purchased the survival horror classic Silent Hill on PSN, as I’ve been in the mood for some old school survival horror full of creepily awkward camera angles. So I will definitely be playing that this weekend! I would also like to let you all know that the Silent Hill HD Collection, which will feature remastered versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3, will be released on March 20th in Europe and North America for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I recommend you check it out!

Here’s the trailer for the Silent Hill HD Collection:

The second game that I will be playing this weekend is Remedy Entertainment’s action-horror title: Alan Wake’s American Nightmare! I actually just had the chance to download this game last night, so I’m really looking forward to getting into it this weekend, as I absolutely loved the first Alan Wake. It was definitely a fantastic action/psychology thriller gaming experience, and I thoroughly recommend it to those of you who love dark and eerie story-driven games as much as I do!

Here’s the launch trailer for Alan Wake’s American Nightmare:

So what will you be playing this weekend? Are you a fan of the Silent Hill franchise, and will you be picking up the HD collection? Those of you who are Alan Wake fans, what are your thoughts on American Nightmare so far? Let me know in the comments section below!

Until next time! Have a great gaming weekend everyone!

Oh cool, what Vita games have you played? I downloaded 15GB of demos (everything they had on the PSN store) so I’m trying those out too. Mainly because everything looks so fantastic on the Vita’s screen!! :)

Well like I said, I don’t own a Vita. But when I picked up the Vita at the convention I was at, I played some Wipeout 2048. :) The screen is huge, and the visuals are wonderful! I look forward to getting one in the near future! :D
