    Borderlands 2 Pre-Order Bonus Overview

    2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced the Borderlands 2 release date is September 18, 2012 in America and September 21, 2012 Internationally. So you can mark that on your calendar as the day you return to Pandora!

    Pre-order Borderlands 2 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PC from participating retailers, and gain access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club which allows you to download awesome in-game items.

    These pre-order bonus items include: the Golden Key (to unlock a rare item in the Sanctuary Loot Chest), the Vault Hunter’s Relic (to boost your gear-hunting fortune), and the Gearbox Gunpack (to deck your characters out with unique Gearbox Golden Guns.)

    Watch this dubstepping “Doomsday” trailer for the first 3 minutes of gameplay footage.

    Borderlands 2 promises to “kick off a new era of Shoot and Loot.” Not to mention the trailer is continuing a new trend of dubstepping game trailers lol!

      Too bad its not on Wii U (September is fair enough for a launch window) I would have got it maybe gear box wasn’t thinkinking…:(

      Let’s hope all the game publishers are waiting for Nintendo’s E3 2012 showing in June to announce their Wii U launch games. It could all still be announced since it’s a simple port :)

      Hahaha, Wii U? No offense, but I don’t think the Wii U is an effective port for the endless badassery of Borderlands 2! Thats like suddenly bringing Mario to the Xbox as a new primary game…

      @61ebba493161b81a51edcdefeaede2f2:disqus : To be fair, the Wii U can do the same HD graphics as Xbox 360 & PS3. And Borderlands isn’t being exclusively developed/published by Microsoft or Sony — like how Nintendo owns the Mario brand which is why it’s only on Nintendo systems — so technically speaking they could easily release a Borderlands 1 & 2 port on Nintendo’s Wii U. That said, it’s looking like they won’t do that or they would’ve announced it already like Darksiders 2 or Assassin’s Creed 3 did.

      Hi Zero, what system will you be playing on? I’ve seen in the past that games were playable online before the official date in the EU, so it’s possible. But for example the PC Steam version doesn’t become available until Friday the 21st, so you won’t be able to play that early for sure.

      Hi Anonymous, sorry but no. Borderlands 2 is only confirmed for PC and consoles, not Mac.
      Although you obviously can setup your Mac to do a dual-boot to run Windows so you can play it then. But I’m guessing that’s not he answer you were looking for.

      Certainly not because iv played Borderlands 1 on it And it was Amazing ! Was just hoping if they could create the Mac Version for it the same way they did for the 1st part !
