Rovio has announced Angry Birds Space! It’s the next full-winged Angry Birds game, it has been given a release date of March 22nd, 2012.
“One small fling for a bird. One quantum leap for birdkind.”
Angry Birds Space will give fans of the series a completely new game with innovative new gameplay, but with some of the familiar Angry Birds elements that you already know and love… plus some surprises are promised! Obviously there will be zero gravity levels on the Moon! That’s an easy guess considering the below teaser image shows a birds’ slingshot in space with the tagline: “One small fling for a bird. One quantum leap for birdkind.”
Furthermore Rovio said: “We’re going to announce more information in early March, and on March 22nd we will launch simultaneously in mobile gaming, animation, retail, and publishing.
Not only is this a first for us as an integrated entertainment company, but the first time this has ever been done for a mobile game!”
