    This Metro: Last Light preview will give a quick look at what can be expected from 4A Games’ upcoming first-person shooter, horror title.

    The game is set in 2034. The game picks up after the “bad” ending from Metro 2033, in which Artyom delivers a devastating attack on the mysterious supernatural race known as the Dark Ones. The station-cities of the Metro struggle for power, using weapons found in D6.

    Players will take on the role of Artyom, the main protagonist from Metro 2033, as must search for the mysterious “Prisoner”, the supposed “key to survival.

    Metro: Last Light is an upcoming action-oriented video game with a combination of survival horror and first-person shooter elements. It is due to be released in the summer of 2012.

    Key Features of Metro: Last Light

    Here is a list of key features that will be available in 4A Games’ Metro: Last Light based on news and announcements made so far.

    • Last Light will “immerse the player in the haunting, desolate ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow” – a richly detailed and beautifully realized gaming world.
    • Developer 4A Games will “deliver a terrifying, atmospheric single-player adventure that fuses thrilling combat with exploration and survival horror to create a unique, memorable experience.”
